Mt. Beacon Fire Tower Trail is an out and back trail located near Beacon, New York that will give you a great workout with rewarding views. Most of the trail is at about a 20-40 degree incline and leads to a fire tower on top of the mountain. Those brave enough to climb to the top of the tower will get a stunning 360 degree view of the Hudson Valley. Even if you do not climb to the top of the tower, you will have a grand view of the valley. Dogs are allowed on this trail but must be kept on leash.

Meyer's Olde Dutch Food & Such is an eight minute drive from Mt. Beacon trailhead. This place is a small burger spot with local craft beers and outdoor seating area.
