Hiking

Hunter Mountain via Becker Hollow Trail is 5 mile out-and-back trail with a partial loop at the summit. The overall hike is short, but very steep with an elevation gain of 2,400 feet. Once we reach the top, we will be at an elevation of 4,000 ft and have access to the Hunter Mountain Fire Tower. Climb this and you will get one of the best views in the Catskills.

Hunter Mountain Brewery is a 5 minute drive from the trailhead. This place is well known for their burgers and wings. The Devil's Path Burger, one of my favorite burgers of all time comes from this place. Their locally brewed beers are also worth a try! The address is 7267 ROUTE 23A, Hunter, New York.
